How to Lose Weight Without Exercising - March 18th, 2011

If you happen to develop diabetes, that would probably be the first way to lose weight without exercising. Actually, most people don’t diet either, they just start losing weight, and it’s a little bit scary as it would be with any similar medical condition. But according to Rush Limbaugh and the makers of his magical diet, it’s completely possible to do it without health risks!

Professional athletes lose weight sometimes without restricting calories. In fact, most eat more calories to compensate for extreme exercise plans. But without exercise, are you starving yourself? Even anorexic girls, actually especially anorexic girls exercise to lose weight. But Rush Limbaugh has created quite a stir….again.

He supposedly lost about 90 pounds with an audience of 15 million cheering him on. He went through what has been referred to as the Quick Weight Loss Centers, A Florida based company. This company combines low calories with proteins, boosters, carb blockers, and otherwise a low carb diet, and it is now commonly called the Rush Limbaugh diet. He called it the easiest and fastest diet he’s ever used.

But realistically, yes, people are always going to listen to him and even hail him. But you shouldn’t. I’m sure he did lose that much weight without exercise. But at what cost? To me at least, this sounds a lot like the Kimkins diet, a diet whose creator was sued for false advertising (she never used the diet and she got fake before and after pictures). It combined extremely low to no carb with calorie control (400 to 500 calories), and it wasn’t much of a surprise when many users ended up in the hospital. Is this diet any different? The probability is no.
